Golden Ticket Winners!

Elijah and Alex put their Golden Tickets to use, joining Mrs Thomas for an exclusive training session with Paddington. The session started with the "how-to" of daily dog maintenance. Mrs Thomas guided the pair through the importance of keeping Paddington hydrated and his fur neatly brushed. Beyond the grooming, they discussed the various jobs and routines that are vital to keeping Paddington healthy, happy, and ready for his school duties.

Both Alex and Elijah took turns leading Paddington around the school. Mrs Thomas coached them on the proper way to hold the lead and how to use the ‘command heel’ to ensure Paddington stayed focused and followed their lead.
They then headed into the main hall for a demonstration of Paddington’s impressive scent work. After the boys hid a ‘scent’, they watched closely as Paddington successfully tracked it down. To finish the session, they practiced a series of tricks, including:

Legs, middle, high five, down, chin, up and spin.

To mark their hard work and successful training, Paddington presented Elijah and Alex with a special Paddington certificate to take home.
