Please contact the school office for more information.
School Lunch Ordering and Payment
Families can order and pay for their child’s dinners online through Arbor.
All transactions for school meals take place through Arbor, our school's MIS system. Once you have logged in to the Arbor Parent Portal, you will be able to top up your child's meal balance. Your child's home class teacher will take a meal register every day in the morning and check if your child will be having a packed lunch or a hot school dinner that day.
Dinners for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes can have a school dinner at no charge under the government UIFSM (Universal Infant Free School Meal) scheme. Please do not add funds to your child's account if they are in these year groups.
If you feel you may qualify for income related free school meals for any year group it is easy to apply online or by phone on 0300 123 4048 and this may also provide additional benefit for the school via Pupil Premium.
Although dinners cannot be ordered in advance, the children will have their choice of meal during lunchtime in the canteen with the support of our kitchen and dining room staff.
If you pay for school dinners, you must have credit on your account to cover the cost. If your child is sick or they change their mind, you do not need to take any action.

Packed Lunches
We encourage all pupils to have healthy packed lunches whilst in school. This is to support your child's focus, memory and to improve their overall learning outcome in the afternoon, so your child can get the best out of their education at Round Diamond. We kindly request that the following foods not be included in packed lunches to help us to sustain this message:
-
No fizzy, carbonated drinks.
-
No sweets.
-
No nut-based snacks as we aim to be a nut-free school.
Snacks are often consumed at our mid-morning breaktime. For our Early Years and KS1 classes, fruit and vegetables are provided for the children as part of a UK Government incentive. For children in Year 3 and above, we ask that all snacks provided support the above message of healthy eating.
