Welcome

Welcome back to the Autumn Term and to Year 6. We are very excited to start our Year 6 journey this term.

Important information

PE will be taught every Tuesday afternoon. As the weather begins to get colder, please can children remember to wear appropriate clothing and bring a water bottle to school. They should also bring a waterproof coat each day.

Curriculum coverage

In English, children will explore biographies and autobiographies. They will use these texts to create a range of fictional writing pieces to develop style, imagination and grammatical accuracy.

In Maths, children will revise all maths content domains taught and apply these skills to a range of problem solving and reasoning scenarios in real-life contexts.

This term, children will enjoy learning about electricity in Science, volcanoes and mountains in Geography and World War Two in History.
