Reporting Absence
If your child is ill and unable to attend school, please leave a message on the school absence line or via email as early as possible, with their name, class, and reason for absence.

Requests for leave during term time will only be authorised in exceptional circumstances. Holiday requests will not be approved.
Attendance Procedures
The school will communicate your child's attendance at the end of each term on their reports. If a child’s attendance drops below 95%, we will send an email to offer support to help improve attendance.
Pupils with attendance below 90% are identified by the Department of Education as being pupils with Persistent Absenteeism (PA). This group of children are at risk of achieving below their expected levels of academic attainment and as such, we communicate with parents at the start of each half term if a child’s attendance is below 90% for the year to date.
