A busy first week back for Paddington!

Paddington thoroughly enjoyed his Year 3 learning this week! He stepped into the shoes of a palaeontologist, putting his excellent digging techniques to good use. Using his paws, he carefully dug through the sand to reveal the wonderful fossils and bones hidden inside. The Year 3 students discussed the specific tools and techniques required to excavate fossils without breaking or damaging them in the process. They even used paintbrushes to gently dust away the remaining sand. Finding a fossil is an exciting adventure; one of the most common places to discover them is along beaches and coastlines.
